Introduction

Welcome to EduEra, a platform where creators (tutors, teachers, mentors) upload educational courses and learners access them. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile apps, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

User Types and Responsibilities

The Platform supports two user types:

• •Learners: Users who sign up to purchase and access courses. Learners must be at least 13 years old and provide accurate registration information.
• •Creators: Tutors, teachers, or mentors who upload courses after being approved. Creators are responsible for ensuring their content complies with these Terms.

Course Access and Payments

Learners purchase courses individually via the Chapa payment gateway, and Chapa's terms apply to all transactions. No subscriptions or recurring payments are required. For each course sale, EduEra deducts a commission and applicable government taxes, with the remaining revenue paid to the Creator.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• •Upload or use content sourced from the internet or others without authorization to profit.
• •Engage in plagiarism or violate intellectual property rights.
• •Use the Platform for illegal activities or to upload harmful content, such as materials encouraging unsafe or dangerous activities.
• •Share account access or engage in disruptive behavior.

Intellectual Property

Course content uploaded by Creators is owned by them and must be original, not sourced from the internet or third parties. EduEra owns the Platform's logos, design, and other proprietary materials. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without explicit permission from the respective owner.

Disclaimer

EduEra is a platform for user-generated courses and is not responsible for the content or validity of courses uploaded by Creators. We monitor only for illegal or harmful content, such as materials encouraging unsafe or dangerous activities. All other intellectual content is permitted but provided "as is" without warranties.

Termination

EduEra may suspend your account for violating these Terms, including intellectual property violations, illegal activities, or uploading harmful content. This may result in loss of access to purchased or uploaded courses. Upon account closure or suspension, associated data may be deleted, subject to legal obligations. You may close your account at any time through the Platform settings.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, EduEra is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Platform or the content provided by Creators.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia. You agree to comply with all applicable laws when using the Platform.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
